Text Messaging (SMS) Privacy Addendum

This Privacy Policy describes how RAECO Rents LLC ("RAECO Rents," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our text messaging (SMS) program for order and delivery updates (the "Program").

Information We Collect

When you consent to the Program, we collect:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • A record of your consent, including the date and time it was given and the RAECO Rents representative who recorded it
  • Your order and rental history, so that we can send notifications relevant to your specific orders
  • Message delivery records, including whether a message was delivered and whether you replied STOP or HELP

How We Use Your Information

Your mobile number is used solely to:

  • Send order confirmations, shipping and tracking notifications, delivery confirmations, rental pickup and return reminders, and delivery exceptions that require your attention
  • Respond to your HELP and STOP requests
  • Maintain records of your consent as required by wireless carrier and regulatory requirements

We do not use your mobile number for marketing or promotional messaging under this Program.

Information Sharing

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in status, or your consent records to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing, promotional, or lead-generation purposes.

Your information may be disclosed only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Our SMS and telephony platform provider transmits messages on our behalf and processes your number solely to deliver those messages. This provider is contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.
  • Legal requirements. Where disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other valid legal process.

These limited disclosures never include text messaging originator opt-in data or consent, which is excluded from all sharing in every case.

Data Security

We store mobile numbers and consent records in access-controlled business systems available only to RAECO Rents personnel who need them to fulfill and support your orders.

Data Retention

We retain your mobile number and consent records for as long as your RAECO Rents account is active, and afterward only as long as needed to comply with legal, tax, and wireless carrier recordkeeping obligations. Consent records are retained separately even after you opt out, in order to document that your opt-out was honored.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by:

Opting out of SMS notifications does not affect your ability to rent from RAECO Rents or to receive order updates through other channels such as email or phone. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of any purchase or rental.

You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below.

Children

The Program is intended for business customers and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly enroll minors in the Program.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
