Text Messaging (SMS) Privacy Addendum
This section supplements RAECO Rents LLC's general Privacy Policy and applies specifically to our SMS order-update program ("the Program").
Information We Collect
When you opt in to the Program, we collect your mobile phone number and associate it with your RAECO Rents account and order history for the purpose of sending order and delivery status notifications.
How We Use Your Information
Your mobile number is used solely to:
- Send order confirmations, shipping, delivery, and rental pickup/return notifications
- Respond to HELP and STOP requests
- Maintain records of consent as required by carrier and regulatory requirements
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your information may be shared with:
- Service providers who deliver text messages on our behalf (e.g., our SMS/telephony platform provider), solely to operate the Program
- Parties as required by law, regulation, or legal process
Data Retention
We retain your mobile number and consent records for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal and carrier recordkeeping obligations.
Your Choices
You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us at rents@raecorents.com. Opting out of SMS notifications does not affect your ability to receive order updates through other channels (e.g., email).
