How Renting with RAECO Rents Works
Rental charges start on the Rental Start Date you choose, not the day we ship. Shipping days, Get Acquainted time, and a one-day return buffer carry no rental charges. Online checkout covers rentals up to 14 days, and longer rentals are available by quote. Here is what arrives in your shipment, how the rental period works, and how to send equipment back.

How the Rental Period Works
Understanding when rental charges apply
We send your equipment with plenty of time before your rental start date.
This is when we plan to have the equipment delivered to your job site or location - typically 1-2 days before your rental start date. You're still not being charged.
This is the Rental Start Date you selected - often the first day you need to start sampling or the first day of your project. This is when your rental period begins and charges start, not when we shipped it.
Your rental period ends, and charges stop. You now have one day to return the equipment.
Drop off the equipment at your designated carrier (FedEx or UPS, depending on your shipping method) by this date. One day buffer after rental ends.
Need Equipment for Longer Than 14 Days?
Longer rentals are available by quote. Online checkout covers rentals up to 14 days. If you need equipment for a month, several months, or the length of a project, call us or request a quote and we will set up your rental dates and pricing. Rental charges still start on the Rental Start Date you choose, and every unit ships under the Instant-On Guarantee.
Returning Your Equipment
Returning equipment is simple and straightforward:
-
Pack Carefully
Return all equipment and accessories in the original case or packaging. Include all cables, chargers, adapters, and documentation. Secure the case to prevent damage during transit.
-
Attach the Return Label
Use the prepaid return shipping label included in your shipment. Cover or remove any old shipping labels to avoid confusion, delayed returns, or additional charges.
-
Ship It Back
Drop off at any UPS or FedEx location (depending on your shipping method) or schedule a pickup. Ship the equipment on or before your rental end date. Keep your tracking receipt for your records.
