The Heated Inlet accessory conditions sample air to maintain consistent relative humidity levels before entering the DustTrak monitor. By regulating RH to user-selectable set points (30%, 40%, or 50%), the heated inlet prevents hygroscopic aerosols from absorbing moisture in humid outdoor environments—eliminating falsely elevated particulate readings common in ambient monitoring applications.
Designed for use with TSI DustTrak Environmental Enclosures, this accessory supports accurate, regulatory-aligned PM2.5 and PM10 measurements in accordance with EPA and NIOSH sampling standards.
