The MiniRAE 3000+ by Honeywell RAE Systems is a handheld VOC monitor designed for volatile organic compound detection in industrial hygiene, hazmat, environmental, and confined space applications. Using third-generation PID technology with a 10.6 eV lamp, it offers a measurement range of 0.1–15,000 ppm with a resolution of 0.1 ppm and a 3-second response time. The intrinsically safe, IP67-rated housing includes a removable rubber boot, LED-backlit display, and large buttons suited for gloved operation, while user-selectable correction factors allow readings to be adjusted for specific target VOCs when calibrated to isobutylene. An optional 11.7 eV PID lamp upgrade is available and must be requested at the time of rental.
