The Extech MO297 is an all-in-one moisture psychrometer for building inspections, water damage restoration, mold prevention, and HVAC diagnostics. Its pinless sensor detects moisture up to 0.75" (19 mm) below the surface without damage, while the pin probe measures 6–99% moisture in wood and 13–99% in building materials. Additional measurements include relative humidity (0–100%, ±2.5–3%), air temperature (-20 to 170°F), and infrared temperature (-4 to 392°F) with an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio. The dual display simultaneously shows moisture alongside dew point, vapor pressure, or grains per pound. Features 20-reading internal memory, programmable high/low alarms, and condensation risk alerts.
