How to use a TSI QUESTemp heat stress monitor

The TSI QUESTemp° 46 is a portable area heat stress monitor featuring waterless wet bulb technology, eliminating the need for wicks and distilled water maintenance. It measures dry bulb, globe temperature, and relative humidity, calculating WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) indoors and outdoors along with Heat Index (U.S.) and Humidex (Canada). Stay time guidance supports ACGIH TLV®, U.S. Navy PHEL charts, U.S. Navy/Marine Corps. flag conditions, and EPRI action limits. Measurement range covers 0–120°C (±0.5°C) for dry bulb and globe, 20–95% RH (±5%), and waterless wet bulb at ±1.1°C expanded uncertainty. Runs on a 9V alkaline battery (~80 hours) with RS-232 serial output. Well-suited for industrial facilities, construction sites, and hot work environments requiring low-maintenance, reliable WBGT monitoring.
