The Zefon Bio-Pump Plus is a dedicated bioaerosol sampling pump designed exclusively for use with Air-O-Cell cassettes, delivering a fixed flow rate of 15 LPM with ±5% accuracy for consistent, standardized mold and spore sampling. With a runtime of approximately 8 hours per charge and a compact weight of 1.6 lbs, it is well-suited for indoor air quality investigations, mold assessments, and environmental monitoring in residential, commercial, and remediation settings. A programmable timer adds flexibility for unattended sampling protocols.

It runs at 15 LPM — the required flow for Air-O-Cell sampling — and offers Quick, Single, and Sequential sampling modes to streamline multi-location mold and IAQ surveys without re-configuring between samples.

No — it's fixed at 15 LPM. This is by design: consistency across locations and technicians is the goal. If your method or lab requires a different flow rate, use a variable-flow pump instead. Confirm your cassette's required flow before committing to this pump.

Use the Bio-Pump Plus when your entire project uses Air-O-Cell cassettes at 15 LPM and you want a simple, repeatable setup. Use a variable-flow personal pump when your sampling plan spans multiple methods, flow rates, or media types. The Bio-Pump Plus trades flexibility for consistency.

Approximately 8 hours of continuous operation, or around 100 five-minute samples. Those are meaningfully different use profiles — plan based on your actual sampling mode. Start with a full charge and bring the charger for all-day multi-site work.

The kit includes the Bio-Pump Plus (or Bio-Pump IAQ Lite for newer units), power cable/charger, and manual. A flow rotameter for Air-O-Cell setups may be included — confirm at dispatch. Air-O-Cell cassettes, chain-of-custody forms, and lab analysis are not included.

Procedure, not the pump. Inconsistency typically comes from different sampling heights, varying run times, HVAC state changes between samples, or cross-contamination from handling. Keep setup identical across locations: same height, same duration, cassettes sealed until the moment of sampling, labeled immediately after.
