The Jerome J505 by Arizona Instruments is a portable mercury vapor analyzer using atomic fluorescence spectroscopy for ultra-sensitive mercury detection in ambient air analysis, cleanup compliance, disposal, recycling, and hazardous waste site monitoring. It detects mercury from 0.05–500 µg/m³ with a resolution of 0.01 µg/m³, with three operating modes: Standard (28-second response), Quick (16-second response), and Search (real-time hotspot tracking). A rechargeable NiMH battery provides 10+ hours of operation, and onboard datalogging stores up to 10,000 samples across 100 labeled test sites with USB export. Compliant with EPA, ATSDR, OSHA, NIOSH, and ACGIH remediation and safety guidelines.
