H₂O) in a single instrument. It's a multiparameter ventilation meter for HVAC commissioning, test and balance, fume hood and biosafety cabinet testing, cleanroom verification, and IAQ investigations. It measures air velocity, temperature, humidity, static pressure, and optionally CO₂ and CO in a single instrument with interchangeable probes.

Air velocity 0–9,999 ft/min, temperature 14–140°F (±0.5°F), relative humidity 5–95% RH (±3% RH), and static/differential pressure –15 to +15 in. H₂O. When paired with Probe 982, it also measures CO₂ (0–5,000 ppm) and CO (0–500 ppm).

Use a capture hood for direct diffuser CFM readings quickly across many grilles. Use the VelociCalc for velocity traverses, pressure diagnostics, multiparameter troubleshooting, and hood or cabinet testing where a capture hood doesn't apply.

Yes — it supports fume hood and biological safety cabinet face velocity measurements. Confirm your facility's measurement protocol (number of test points, sash position, acceptance criteria) so your measurements match the required method.

Yes — it stores 26,500+ samples across up to 100 test IDs, supporting full commissioning and troubleshooting documentation workflows.
