This unit comes standard with PID, CO, O₂, H₂S, and LEL sensors. All other sensors are available upon request.
The MultiRAE by Honeywell RAE Systems is a pumped multigas monitor capable of simultaneously detecting up to six gases for personal protection and industrial leak detection in confined space, hazmat response, and industrial hygiene applications. The PID sensor measures VOCs (choice of either HIGH or LOW resolution sensor), and a broad selection of standard and optional electrochemical sensors is available including CO, H₂S, O₂, LEL, and a wide range of additional toxic gas options. Compatible with Honeywell Safety Suite Device Configurator Software for configuration, datalogging, and compliance reporting.

What is the MultiRAE used for?
The MultiRAE is a pumped multigas monitor used for personal protection and industrial leak detection when you need more than a standard 4-gas configuration, including VOC screening with a PID in some configurations.
How many gases can the MultiRAE detect at once?
Up to six gases simultaneously. The exact sensor set depends on how the unit is configured for your job.
What VOC PID range does this MultiRAE measure?
This configuration lists a PID range of 0–5,000 ppm with 0.1 ppm resolution. Use those numbers when deciding whether this setup fits your expected VOC levels.
What does a pumped multigas monitor do that a diffusion monitor doesn't?
A pumped monitor actively pulls air through the instrument, which helps with sampling in tubing runs, tight spaces, and faster sample delivery to sensors. It also means filters and the sampling path matter — clogs and leaks can affect readings.
Is the MultiRAE intrinsically safe?
Yes — certified Intrinsically Safe (DoC, ATEX, IECEx, IP-67, IP-65, and CSA). Always confirm the site classification and follow your safety program.
MultiRAE vs. a standard 4-gas monitor — when do I need MultiRAE?
Use a standard 4-gas monitor when your hazard list is limited to O2/LEL/CO/H2S. Use MultiRAE when your hazard list includes additional toxics and/or VOC screening and you need those channels in one instrument.
What's included with the MultiRAE rental kit?
The monitor, chargers, alkaline battery pack, calibration cap, tools, PID removal tool, spare charcoal filters (for CO sensor), mini USB cable, spare pump filter, and Safety Suite Device Configurator on a flash drive.
