This unit comes standard with CO2, CO, O₂, H₂S, and LEL sensors. All other sensors are available upon request.
The MultiRAE Lite CO₂ by Honeywell RAE Systems is a pumped multigas monitor capable of simultaneously detecting up to six gases for personal protection, confined space monitoring, and industrial hygiene applications. The CO₂ sensor detects from 0–50,000 ppm (100 ppm resolution), and a broad selection of electrochemical sensors is available including CO (0–500 ppm), H₂S (0–100 ppm), O₂ (0–30% vol.), LEL (0–100%), NH₃ (0–100 ppm), NO₂ (0–20 ppm), SO₂ (0–20 ppm), and more. The modular design supports up to 6 plug-and-play sensors and is compatible with Honeywell Safety Suite Device Configurator Software for data management and compliance reporting.

What is the MultiRAE Lite CO2 used for?
It's a pumped multigas monitor used when CO2 is part of the hazard list and you also need oxygen, combustibles (LEL), and toxic gas channels in the same instrument. Adding CO2 to a multigas workflow helps catch both exposure and displacement (asphyxiation) risk.
What CO2 range does this monitor measure?
CO2 is measured from 0–50,000 ppm (100 ppm resolution). Use that as your planning range for CO2-heavy environments.
How many sensors can the MultiRAE Lite platform support?
Up to six sensors, including an optional PID/VOC sensor. The exact sensor package should be driven by your hazard assessment and permit requirements.
MultiRAE Lite CO2 vs. a CO2-only detector — what's the difference?
A CO2-only detector is simpler when CO2 is the only concern. The MultiRAE Lite CO2 is for multi-hazard jobs where you also need oxygen, combustibles, and toxics on the same screen. If the permit includes multiple hazards, a single-gas CO2 device can leave blind spots.
Is the MultiRAE Lite CO2 intrinsically safe?
Yes — certified Intrinsically Safe (DoC, ATEX, IECEx, IP-67, IP-65, and CSA). Confirm your site classification before use.
What runtime does it offer?
Up to 12 hours with a rechargeable Li-ion pack, plus an included alkaline pack for an additional 6 hours. Plan battery logistics so you don't lose coverage mid-shift.
What's included with the rental kit?
The monitor plus travel charger, AC charger, alkaline battery pack, calibration cap, tools, PID removal tool, spare filters, USB cable, and Safety Suite software on a flash drive.
