How to Calibrate the RAE Systems MultiRAE Lite

Cross-sensitivity warning: This instrument may react to gases beyond its primary target. Check the spec sheet to verify compatibility with your gas mixture before use.

This unit comes standard with PID, CO, O₂, H₂S, and LEL sensors. All other sensors are available upon request.

The MultiRAE P2P by Honeywell RAE Systems is a pumped multigas monitor with Point-to-Point wireless capability and Thiamis connectivity for remote datalogging in industrial and environmental monitoring applications. This 5-gas configuration measures CO from 0–500 ppm (1 ppm resolution), H₂S from 0–100 ppm (0.1 ppm resolution), O₂ from 0–30% Vol. (0.1% Vol. resolution), combustibles from 0–100% LEL (1% LEL resolution), and VOCs via PID (choice of either HIGH or LOW resolution sensor). Compatible with Honeywell Safety Suite Device Configurator Software for configuration, datalogging, and compliance reporting.

What is the MultiRAE P2P used for?
It's a MultiRAE configuration with point-to-point (P2P) capability for remote monitoring and connected workflows — used when you need readings and alarms beyond line-of-sight, such as distributed work zones, large sites, or supervisor visibility into multiple crews.
What gases does this P2P configuration measure?
CO (0–500 ppm), H2S (0–100 ppm), O2 (0–30% vol.), LEL (0–100%), and VOC via PID (0–5,000 ppm, 0.1 ppm resolution) — a 5-gas configuration.
Is this unit intrinsically safe?
This item is not configured as intrinsically safe. Confirm site classification requirements before deployment.
Why use a connected/P2P monitor instead of a standalone unit?
Connected monitoring helps when you need centralized oversight, alarm visibility across a site, or recordkeeping across multiple users. It doesn't replace a hazard assessment — sensor selection, placement, and response procedures still determine whether monitoring is effective.
What should I confirm before using it for confined space or permit work?
Confirm the sensor set matches the permit hazards, that the unit is appropriate for the site classification, and your pre-use verification procedure and documentation workflow.
What's included with the rental kit?
The monitor plus chargers, alkaline battery pack, calibration cap, tools, PID removal tool, spare charcoal filters, mini USB cable, spare pump filter, and Safety Suite software on a flash drive.
How much does it cost to rent the MultiRAE P2P?
Listed rental rates are $140/day and $410/week. Pricing beyond two weeks is quoted — contact RAECO Rents.
